Gold Ground Cherry Croustade

Gold ground cherries, unshelled
Butter or margarine
Brown sugar
Whole wheat flour
Oat meal flour
Pinch of salt
Pinch of nutmeg
« Preparation »
Place the round gold ground cherries in the bottom of an 8" by 8" Pyrex dish.
Mix the other ingredients to a coarse consistency.
Spread the granular or coarse mixture onto the ground cherries.
Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
Bake 45 mins. In the oven at 350o F.
