Gold ground cherries
Onions, sliced and chopped
Clarified butter
Ground cherry vinegar
Brown sugar
Mixed Italian spices
Light McAuslan beer
Salt and Pepper to taste

Cook the onions and the ground cherries in the clarified butter for around 15 mins. Stir from time to time.
Pour in the vinegar and let it reduce to three-quarters.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on low heat for another 30 mins.
