Whole ground cherries
Carrots in curls
Celery in curls
Fennel in curls
Balsam vinegar
Diced tomatoes
Sugar
Chicken base

« Preparation »
  1. Sweat the onions in melted butter along with the celery and fennel for a few minutes.
  2. Deglaze with the balsam vinegar.
  3. Add the tomatoes, sugar, chicken base, salt and pepper as weel as the ground cherries.
  4. Reduce the mixture until it thickens.
