Ground Cherries in syrup

golden ground cherries
sugar
water
salt
juice of 1 lemon

« Preparation »
- Wash and dry the golden ground cherries.
- Bring the rest of the ingredient to a boil and cook for 5 mins.
- Let it become lukewarm and add the ground cherries.
- Cook slowly until the fruit is clear and the syryup is thick.
- Remove the ground cherries from their syrup and place them in sterelized jars.
- Cover the hot syrup. Seal and preserve it in a cool dry place.
